Half a Decade - Owen

Here we are, half a decade in with this guy...Owen.

Five and one to grow on...

(Mike switched from the water guns I wanted to get for O's birthday to ones that could hold the most water. Um, they ended up being ridiculously HUGE and heavy!)

Aunt Nancy and fam and Pepaw and Beverly were on hand to help celebrate the big F-I-V-E.

He's witty, determined, confident, sneaky, super sweet (with those he loves), super tough (does not realize how young/small he is sometimes), feisty (I've definitely gotten looks from other moms on the playground, ugh!), funny, intuitive, loves to build (legos, magnatiles, blocks), collect cards he can trade with his cousins (pokemon, basketball), tell tall tales, snuggle with and protect his baby sister, play and wrestle with his big brother, he doesn't eat much (double ugh! so frustrating), he's very coordinated, competitive, likes to try new sports, likes math and numbers and can add 60+60 (though not necessarily 60+70), is thoughtful, perceptive, generous, and fast. And he still has this gravelly voice that one would not expect from a person of his current stature. We love love love our Owie, Owee-one-kenobi, O-dog, OweeOweeOh...Owen.
