Visits

Cousins Jen, Joel, Adah, and Henry, and Aunt Jane & Uncle Harris came all the way down from Boston and Doylestown, respectively, for a playdate! Last time I saw the twins they were just 2 months old, now they're 9 months! Owen loved hanging out with kids his age and Jacob enjoyed being the oldest and showing off all of the things he can do (jump, yell really loud, use the potty, yell really loud, stuff like that).

Then this weekend we took the boys to Annapolis to visit Anne Van. We were hoping to get to ride in her boat but the weather was being unpredictable so instead we walked around, rode on a water taxi, got lunch and then got stuck in the rain without an umbrella for the walk back to the car (oops). It was such a nice day all around, though.

Our beach house

Last week we took a trip up to our beach house on Long Island. Yep. We let Nana and Papa stay with us while we were there and we had a grand old time together. They had all sorts of activities planned for us and we got to spend lots of time with Avery and Heath and their parents too. It was so fun - I think I took over 300 pictures. Knowing that, you should appreciate that I could narrow it down to this relatively small group. Owen ate a few meals of sand (I'll never understand) and Jacob loved going in the ocean with Mike to jump waves.
