One Month - Amelia

Hi. I'm already one month old. Time is just flying by. Since I was born I've had lots of visitors, traveled to New York to meet my cousins, aunts, and uncles (somehow very few pictures were taken of that trip!), slept through a whole dinner out on the town with them, taken my first bath, and rolled over in one direction. My mom would say I've become a tad bit fussier than she'd like, but it's a trade off because I am an awesome sleeper so far (usually I just wake her once in the middle of the night!). I still sleep quite a lot during the day - eat/stay awake for about an hour or so, fuss a little, then to sleep for an hour or so, then fuss a little, then start all over again. I spend way more time in my carseat than I'd like (I'm still making my opinion known about that), but so is the life of a third kid with two older brothers I've been told.

Me and all my one-month-old glory.

Aren't my brothers sweet together?

I got to meet the famous Anne Van. I can't wait to go on adventures together.

Me, Aunt Wendy, and Drew who turned two while we were there.

This is Riley, Aunt Nancy's neighbor. She used to help with Jacob and Owen when they were babies!

First bath: Hated it/Tolerated it.

It's safe to say these days I either look like this (above) or this (below)

And on occasion I look like this...

This isn't a "real" smile, but I'm including it since I caught it on camera and it's a pretty cute glimpse of what's to come...soon, I hope.

Christmas 2014

Looking back, the holidays are a bit of a blur, but since I have pictures as evidence I can say Christmas morning started off normal, boys slept fine even though they were very excited for Santa's arrival, Amelia probably slept relatively well too (since that seems to be her way so far - go Amelia!!).

Waiting to go downstairs and see what Santa left for them. In case you're wondering - bunk beds was the big gift this year.

Requisite picture by the tree.

Now this image I do recall. Within oh, let's say 45 minutes, both boys were completely naked opening gifts. I don't remember why now, but it probably made perfect sense. Mike doesn't seem phased either.

Then off to Aunt Nancy's for opening gifts, Christmas dinner, etc. Me holding my baby (2wks), Nancy holding one of hers (14yo)

Amelia and her various Christmas outfits. In the picture below with Memaw she reminds me a lot of both Owen and Jacob as babies, just wearing a dress.

Memaw has finally learned to sit still and smile as if nothing is happening around her. Eventually we'll get one good one...maybe.
 You be the judge.
