Well, this was quite a looooooooooong weekend. We had all sorts of grand plans that were quickly derailed by PINK EYE! Owen got it first, then Jacob got it. Ugh. What a total pain. Have you ever tried putting drops in a two-year-old's eye... three times a day... for five to seven days? Yep, that's been fun.
In the meantime, Owen is 7 months old already! It's just amazing to me how slowly those first few months went and then suddenly it's been 7 months. He's sitting pretty well and talking a lot, rolling over and over and over, he wants to chew on every single thing and when he doesn't have a cold or pink eye he sleeps pretty well too. I was just recently thinking how it's nice that we're getting sleep again and then he got a cold and pink eye. Sigh.
Despite the "glory" that has been this long weekend, we did discover Owen loves to bounce, went on a nice walk which made me long for spring when we can do that more often, and Mike took Jacob on his first trip to the Air and Space Museum. It was a hit. Now we're just hoping for a good night sleep one of these days as Mike and I constantly compare who is more tired and why. Official word is in and I'M more tired.
