Amelia - 10 months

This wiggleworm has started making this picture increasingly difficult to capture.

Finally the boys are home from school!

She managed to get in and out of Ryder's dog cage without any adult assistance...or tears.

This month we also had time to get to our 2nd Annual Tour the Kitchen and Eat All You Want at the AMAZING Heidelberg Bakery with the Schwartzes! This event is like no other and my only regret is that it took me so long to hear about it.

Homemade pretzels, chocolate chip cookies, bread, donuts, pasta, cheese sticks, YUM!

10 months, for the record:
Amelia weighs in at a little over 20 pounds, and 26 inches tall. She is eating lots of real food now and eats her 6 oz. bottle about every 4 hours. She ever so breath-ily says the word "hi" and waves a lot at the same time. She also says a faint "hi dada" whenever she sees her favorite person (her dad). She's currently very much a people person - happy to offer (but never on command) her best tricks (shaking her head, kicking feet, clapping hands) when she has an audience. She knows where my belly button is, is starting to point, is full fledged crawling and pulling up on everything. Like most babies her age she is very curious, no longer content to sit back and relax in her stroller or in shopping carts, or to look at the stairs longingly (but statically) from the bottom, among several other dangerous pursuits...so now I feel we're officially in for the ride. Jacob and Owen love her so much though they can be a bit rough and in her face at times. Jacob tells me all the time how she's the cutest baby in the whole wide world, he reads to her is always entertaining her. Owen continues to look out for her, helps her get out of troublesome situations and tries so hard to make her smile when she's upset. Overall this is the month where she has truly started to get into EVERYTHING.
