Staycation

Mike was was working all weekend and Jared was out of town so Jacob and I headed over to our Virginia house and spent the weekend with Lyle & Stacey.

Nana and Papa visit

Nana and Papa stopped by for a visit on their way back up to New York from Florida. I had warned Memaw, who was also visiting, that she better get her fill of Jacob before they arrived because it would be all about Papa once Jacob saw him. That turned out to be an understatement. He didn't let Mark out of his sight, dragged him all over the house, and I think he even called him "mama" a few times -- interesting. Lois will probably prefer to come alone next time so she can get some quality time with the kid without Mark as a distraction :o).

Day at the zoo

Spring has sprung and Memaw came to visit.
We went to the zoo and played outside and saw Aunt Nancy too. What a fun day.

Jacob ended the week with a pajama party at school
(not that he got to sleep over or anything).

After one sleepless night, watching Jacob hold his head like this all day
(whether eating, playing or walking), and finally a visit to the doctor,
we discovered someone finally has a molar growing in!

And finally an OUTSIDE play date with Lyle! We can't wait for Spring!!!

Making faces

While I failed miserably at attempts to catch Jacob on video singing the parts he knows of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round (he knows that the babies go "wah wah wah" and the mommies go "shh shh shh") or saying "ah-choo" after any sneeze, burp, or cough he does (or hears), I did manage to catch him making faces for the camera.
