Last weekend we decided to test our sanity. We packed up the car with one toddler and one newborn and headed to Long Island to see Grandma/Bubby (and the rest of the Shermans and Wulfows). It was quite the adventure but the boys did surprisingly well, especially on the drive home which took 8 hours -- ugh DC to NY traffic!!! Thank goodness for Jacob's love of trucks, tractors and motorcycles, coupled with the constant state of construction on the highway. It was a great weekend -- we visited Bubby, went to the beach, played in the sprayground with Heath, and of course Papa was there so all of that was secondary.
